Customer Reviews

"The owner is the cook - for 30 years! We had the ground beef tacos ala cart - with the most flavorful meat! Tasted like my own mom's homemade. We were very pleased. Two tacos & tea were only $5 ! Excellent service. Clean bathrooms. Great choice."

- Karen W.

"Budget friendly and delicious food. Small town and family owned vibes. Everybody knew everybody at this food place. Service is super friendly and they offer delivery. One of the better places in the area. Mexican food and burgers was an interesting combo on the menu but they were both good. Bathroom could be improved. Would recommend. The Mexican rice was AWESOME but the refried beans were meh."

- Cameron M.

"Very nice, cute ans cozy diner. The employees were great and friendly. Providing some great hospitality despite the understaffing. Food is cheap and delicious. The green chili was delicious."

- Xio S.

"Laid back atmosphere, but the hostess was quick and responsive. Food was delicious at great prices! Thanks for accommodating our family with lots of kids."

- Rebecca B.

"A solid three-star "OK". Chips seemed a little stale. Salsa was fair. Chicken quesadilla was good (3.5 stars). The small room was filling up on a Tuesday evening, 7.30ish, but we got a table right away. Our server was friendly - no impression that 'we weren't from around here'. The glowing reviews and the scary reviews both seem over hyped. Two small towns, not a lot of choices, and places close early (but note the time zone change crossing the state line on the way to Clayton)."

- Gary P.

"Good spot to stop by for a meal in this part of Texas. We had the burrito plate which was good. Really nice to experience a small town atmosphere. Very friendly service."

- Sam S.
